Are you ready for a BOSS BATTLE?

Get ready for the fight of your life! Boss Battle is the best part of the penultimate RPG session, boiled down into an asymmetrical 3v1 duel. One of your ‘friends’ (you’re fighting them now!) takes the role of the boss, while the other three form a party of intrepid adventurers in a last stand. All you have to do is grab the character decks, shuffle up, and get right into the meat and potatoes. Choose from the Necromancer or the Dragon bosses and four hero options like the Mage, Warrior, Thief or Druid! If you’re looking for a little more, pick up (and get stuck to) the Slime & Soul expansion and add The Slime as a big boss and The Monk and The Bard as supporting heroes! Each character works hand in hand, but you’ll have to communicate as the three of you will share half the board while the boss is in full command of their own half. Play cards, push, pull, strategize and sacrifice to bring your team to victory.

But be careful! You’ll only have so many turns, and the boss’s machinations don’t stop just because you’re working to foil them. Eventually they’ll hit their ultimate ability, and gain enough power to overwhelm even the strongest teams. When that happens… maybe you’ll be focusing more on the ‘sacrifice’ part of the options above.
